How do we collect personal data?
Marshall and Kendon Architects are not a limited company, we are a partnership. We are UK registered for VAT, and operate out of offices on Whiteladies Rd, Bristol.
We do not collect any personal data via our website – we do not have any online forms, newsletter sign ups, live chat facility, or anything else similar. Also, we do not examine website cookies to identify any individuals; we are not aware of any third party or hosting company making use of this (we have an SSL secure website). We merely respond accordingly, and professionally, to any contact you initiate with us, be it via email, phone or in person.
If you do contact us, we take this as consent for us to respond to you, and your email will be stored within our inbox. Your personal details will not be used / passed on for anything unrelated to the work you have requested of us. We may well use your contact details, on your behalf, via a third party – for example, for registering you as the client for a planning application on the Planning Portal, but we will not use your data, without your consent, for anything beyond the normal architectural services remit. You have the right to inform us how you would like your data used (or not used). We may keep your data for 6 years if we cannot delete it for legal, regulatory or technical reasons. For example, if you have entered a contractual agreement with us, or a builder (which we administer), and our professional Insurers require us to maintain a record of the project during the run off period (typically 6yrs).
If anything changes, with regards to how you use / store personal data, we will update this page.
