Jeremy Johnson-Marshall
B.A., B. Arch.
Qualified at Bristol University in 1972 and has remained in the city ever since.
Jeremy has worked on a huge range of buildings, including many Listed ones, in and around Bristol. Where appropriate for speed and flexibility this has included running site operations. Jeremy’s design work has extended beyond architecture into areas such as inflatable buildings and sailboards.
The arrival of an old friend from London gave the opportunity to set up Marshall and Kendon in 2005.
Sam Kendon

Former Scholar of St Catharine’s College, Cambridge. Read geography and architecture.
Sam spent most of the 1980’s doing offices including the rebuilding of the Civil Service Store, and retail projects at Chapman Taylor Partners and then spent the 1990’s at Nicholas Hare Architects working on Islamic Arts Centre, Russell Sq (London University), Nokia HQ (Farnborough), Sadler’s Wells Theatre (a lottery-funded rebuilding) and the new Education Centre for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in Regent’s Park.
Sam moved to Bristol in 2003 and set up Marshall and Kendon in 2005.
Dan Mattholie
M.A Dip Arch.
Qualified from the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University with Distinction in 2008.
Dan has worked for a variety of practices in both UK and Internationally, from Cornwall to Colombia. Experience across a wide range of sectors – Education, Health care, Community, Commercial, Residential – of small to large scale projects.
Dan joined Marshall and Kendon Architects at the start of 2016.
